| Thank you for all you are doing!!!Found you though a Lion Brand e-mail, and very glad I did! You have some great patterns listed here. I was looking for a crochet pattern to use for a 17yr old girl. Also, was looking for tips on types of yarn to use(I understand chemo tends to make the skin VERY sensitive!). Your site is well organized and informitive! Thank you again for all you are doing! And I plan to contact you again! | |||

| I went to my last chemo appointment on a day when my cotton kerchief proved to be too thin for the fall weather. I was thoroughly delighted and relieved when one of the attending nurses noticed me shivering and directed toward a fleece hat that your organization had donated to the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center. Thank you for saving my head! | |||

| I am a recipient of your kindness and generosity . I found my first hat at the center where I was having chemo for breast cancer. Not only useful as a head covering for hair loss, they have been great for keeping my head warm. I know that it is encouraging and uplifting to me and others to know that there are so many caring people out there expressing their love and support in this way. I hope to soon be doing this with my young granddaughter who is just learning to knit and loving it. Thank you, thank you ,thank you! | |||

| I am wondering if you have heard that the yarn used in the hat matters depending on whether it is to be worn before or after the complete loss of hair. I made hats for my sister who has thankfully recovered. When she had lost all her hair most yarn was too harsh for her head - I found that the Caron Simply Soft yarn was soft enough yet had enough body to hold shape and comes in beautiful jewel colors that say other baby soft yarns were too soft to use. I have dusted off my hat making process and will be sending hats and postage your way soon. Thanks for your wonderful idea | |||

| Thank you all! Today I picked up a gorgeous cream hat with a multicolored band from the Hematology/Oncology clinic at St. Louis Children's Hospital. My 3 year old son Jack will likely lose his hair any day and his new hat will be a blessing! | |||

| I found your flyer at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC where my husband was an AML patient. Naturally, with chemo he lost his hair and wore a donated hat to keep his head warm. I want to do something to help any person that I can and I feel that this is something that I can do since I am somewhat handicapped myself. This is a double blessing. I can bless someone with a small gift and it blesses me to be able to give. Thank you so very much. | |||
